📋 Step 1: Preparation
1. Read the instructions on the manual carefully.
2. Prepare all materials: lancets, gauze swabs, disinfectant swabs, sample tubes (if applicable, multiple), bandages, safety bag, and shipping envelope.
3. Open the email “Important for your test result: Please activate your test”, as you will need it later.
🧪 Step 2: Execution
4.Pull off the lid (do not twist) and place the tube in the designated cutout (right flap) in the shipping box to prevent it from tipping over during blood collection. (see video)
5. Stimulate blood circulation: Hold hand under warm water for at least 1 minute, dry it, and rotate the arm 5–10 times in large movements.
6. Disinfect the chosen finger with the alcohol swab and let it dry briefly. Tip: The index and middle fingers are particularly suitable.
7. Hold the blue-white lancet horizontally, rotate the protective cap around its axis, and carefully pull it off. Important: Do not use the lancet without or with a loose protective cap.
8. Place the hand palm up on a firm surface.Place the lancet on the center of the fingertip and press firmly. Wipe away the first drop of blood.
9. Stand up and hold the hand at a downward angle below heart level and gently massage (!) the finger from the palm to the fingertip. Important: Do not squeeze the finger to avoid hematomas, as this can distort blood values.
10. Hold the finger over the tube and fill it (the stripping aid can be used). If too little blood is regenerated, start again with a second lancet on another finger.
11. The collection is complete when the 0.5 ml mark of all included tubes is reached. Tap the tube lightly on the table several times to allow the blood to flow.
12.Press the lid back onto the tube until a "click" sound is heard. Please ensure that the collected blood mixes well with the additive contained in the tube. Important: Less than 0.5 ml per tube is not analyzable.
13. Turn the tube 4–5 times slowly upside down to mix the blood with the stabilizer.
14. Cover the wound with a bandage.
📦 Step 3: Registration & Shipping
15. Place the sealed tube in the transparent safety bag and seal it carefully. Important: Do not tear open the safety bag!
16. Place the safety bag in the gray return envelope and seal it carefully.
17.Open the email you received in advance and click on “Activate Test” in the test profile. Now follow the further steps and fill in your data so that the order can be sent to the laboratory.
18. Submit the envelope directly at a post office (no mailbox drop!), so that your sample arrives safely and quickly at the laboratory.
19. Once your sample has been analyzed in the laboratory, you will receive a notification and can view your results online.
