Gamma-GT (G-GT)
Gamma-GT (G-GT) is an important biomarker for liver diseases and alcohol-related damage. An elevated G-GT level in the blood can indicate liver problems, such as fatty liver, hepatitis, or liver cirrhosis. It is also an indicator of excessive alcohol consumption. Regular monitoring of the G-GT level is therefore important for the early detection and treatment of liver diseases.
